Christopher Richards

A former architect making the move to the world of furniture design, Christopher required a digital space to showcase his incredible work. We created a website that reflects the time and effort put into his creations whilst ensuring it remains easy to maintain and update as his portfolio grows.

Website Overview

“James and Fred did a great job steering me through what would have been for me a digital minefield: creating a website, which looks smart and simple, the way I wanted it. Full marks, guys!”

Making the Portfolio Shine.

With work as aesthetically pleasing as Christopher’s, we knew a stripped back approach would allow his creations to shine. Focusing on clear, crisp header images and a simple portfolio layout ensured projects were given the attention they deserve without added distractions.

Easy to Manage & Update.

Christopher wanted his website to be incredibly easy to maintain; we chose the Squarespace CMS to build on to ensure he felt comfortable adding to the portfolio and tweaking content throughout the site. We limited our use of complex code blocks and completed a post-launch handover session with Christopher to take him through the site and teach him how to get the most from his investment.

Generating Leads.

Christopher wanted a website that generated commercial interest in his work. With a stunning portfolio, prominent call to action blocks and a simple contact form, the website helps turn visitors into leads for commissioned work.
