
Capital Enterprise
Capital Enterprise is one of the UK’s leading startup ecosystem organisations, working with investors, universities, local authorities, accelerators, incubators and enterprise agencies to support entrepreneurship across the country. We were commissioned to deliver a comprehensive brand refresh within a two-month timeframe, developing the identity, guidelines and supporting collateral needed to give the organisation a clearer, more consistent visual presence. From logo refinement and brand standards to website assets, newsletter templates, social media graphics, presentation decks and internal documents, the project gave Capital Enterprise a practical identity system its team could use confidently across every major touchpoint.



Logo Development
Capital Enterprise have a long and renowned operational history, and as such they possess a fantastic reputation and great brand recognition in their industry. Our role was to evolve and elevate their logo design, all whilst ensuring existing brand recognition did not go to waste.



A Complete Visual Identity System
Capital Enterprise already had strong recognition within the UK startup ecosystem, so the project was not about replacing the brand entirely. It was about refining, modernising and systemising it.
We evolved the existing logo and wordmark, introducing updated colourways, formats and usage rules while preserving the familiarity and equity of the original identity.
The wider visual system was then rebuilt around a refreshed colour palette, typography, iconography, imagery style, graphic elements and tone-of-voice guidance. These standards were brought together in a comprehensive brand guide, giving the Capital Enterprise team a clearer framework for creating consistent, professional communications.

Templates for a Scaling Organisation
A key part of the project was making the refreshed identity easy for the team to use day to day.
We created a suite of practical templates across Canva, Google Slides, PowerPoint, Google Docs and Microsoft Word, covering everything from social posts and newsletter graphics to presentation decks, reports, letterheads and event invitations.
This gave Capital Enterprise a flexible set of branded tools that could be used across internal and external communications without needing to start from scratch each time.

A More Consistent Digital Presence
Alongside the core brand work, we refreshed Capital Enterprise’s digital assets across website, email and social channels.
We designed updated single page website to bridge the gap between old and new whilst a more comprehensive rebuild was planned. We also created refreshed Mailchimp newsletter templates, social media headers and channel graphics, helping the new identity feel consistent wherever the organisation appeared online.
