We first worked with Sladen several years ago, refining its visual identity and building its original WordPress website.

Sladen has grown into a more mature and established business, combining its distinctive character with a deeper level of sector insight, experience and authority. At the same time, Wilkes Wood has evolved too, massively refining our technical capability and the way we deliver more ambitious web projects.

We replaced Sladen’s original WordPress site with a modern headless platform, creating a faster, more secure and more flexible foundation for the next stage of the business.

The new CMS gives the team more control over key content, while protecting the design system and keeping the site consistent as it grows.

With optimised imagery, stronger performance and improved search foundations, the new platform is built to support Sladen’s continued growth rather than hold it back.
