Tideswell Lounge
After years working in Sheffield’s hospitality scene, Millie Henson took on a café in the Peak District village of Tideswell with a clear ambition: to create a warm, welcoming place for locals, walkers and visitors to enjoy good food in a relaxed setting. We worked with Tideswell Lounge to develop a visual identity that felt rooted in the village while giving the café a distinctive, approachable character of its own. Alongside the brand work, we designed and built a simple website to showcase the quality of the food, share the menu and opening times, and make table booking easy.
The heart of the village
The identity is rooted in Tideswell itself. The arches reference the village’s landmark church, while the star acts as a subtle wayfinding symbol, positioning the café as a natural meeting point for locals, walkers and visitors.
The coffee cup completes the mark, making the purpose of the business immediately clear and giving the logo a warm, familiar quality. Together, the elements create a brand mark that feels local, welcoming and easy to recognise.

Putting food front and centre
The website was designed to showcase the food with warm imagery and give visitors the essential information quickly: what Tideswell Lounge offers, when it is open, what is on the menu and how to book.
With a single page layout, clear navigation and an integrated booking route, the site gives the café a polished digital presence while keeping the experience simple, practical and easy to use.
